Ecos do Olimpo

Rebuild Olympus through farming, crafting and early automation.

Alpha 0.1.2 is available now — a solo-developed pixel art game made in GameMaker.

Olympus has fallen. Explore its ruins, gather resources, craft machines, cultivate sacred crops and restore the power of the gods piece by piece.

Ecos do Olimpo is a top-down 2D game that combines farming, crafting, construction and early automation in a world inspired by Greek mythology.

This public Alpha introduces the core progression loop: collect materials, craft useful items, plant sacred seeds, smelt ore, build structures and complete divine offerings to restore the first parts of Olympus.

What You Can Do

Experience the first playable version of the main gameplay loop and begin rebuilding Olympus through exploration, production and divine progression.

  • Farm sacred crops — plant seeds, follow their growth stages and harvest special resources.
  • Mine resources — collect stone, coal and Azurelite ore throughout the world.
  • Craft useful items — use a 3×3 crafting grid to create tools, machines and progression materials.
  • Smelt materials — refine Azurelite ore into bars using the furnace.
  • Build on a grid — place structures using a simple grid-based construction system.
  • Experiment with automation — connect belts, chests, furnaces and auto-mining systems.
  • Complete divine offerings — deliver the required items to restore god sets and advance through the Alpha.
  • Follow objectives and hints — use the in-game guidance to understand each stage of progression.

About This Alpha

Alpha 0.1.2 is an early development version of Ecos do Olimpo. The current content can be played from beginning to end, but bugs, balance issues, unfinished visuals and systems that may change are still expected.

The purpose of this release is to test the game’s foundation before expanding it with new areas, gods, resources and automation systems.

This Alpha is especially focused on understanding:

  • Whether the main objective is clear to new players.
  • Whether farming, crafting, construction and offerings are easy to understand.
  • Whether the current progression feels satisfying and rewarding.
  • Whether the inventory and interface are comfortable to use.
  • Which systems should be improved, expanded or simplified.

Your feedback is one of the most important parts of this Alpha.

You can help the development by:

  1. Leaving a comment on this page with your impressions, favorite parts and anything that felt confusing.
  2. Using the feedback form to report bugs, technical issues or more detailed suggestions.

Send Alpha Feedback →

Every response helps determine what should be improved, fixed or expanded in future versions.

Restore Olympus

Your main objective is to rebuild parts of Olympus by gathering the items requested in divine offerings.

Restore the first Zeus and Demeter sets, experiment with the available systems and reach the short ending sequence that marks the completion of the current Alpha.

Support the Project

The Alpha is free to play and download.

Optional donations help support the continued development of Ecos do Olimpo, including new systems, areas, visual improvements, balancing and future content.

Playing the game, sharing the project and leaving feedback are also valuable ways to support its development.

Roadmap

Future updates may include:

  • Expanded farming and resource systems.
  • More divine offerings, gods and blessings.
  • New areas of Olympus to explore.
  • Deeper automation and production chains.
  • Additional mythological elements and structures.
  • More creatures and world interactions.
  • Interface, balancing and quality-of-life improvements based on player feedback.

The project is still evolving. Future updates will be shaped by development progress, technical experimentation and feedback from Alpha players.

🎮 Inspirations

  • Stardew Valley — cozy progression, farming and long-term world improvement.
  • Minecraft — crafting, resource gathering, building and transformation.
  • Factorio — automation, production chains and system expansion.

These games inspire the type of progression, creativity and interconnected systems I want to explore as Ecos do Olimpo continues to grow.
